Job summary

UNITED PERSONNEL SERVICES in Singapore is seeking an experienced lighting design leader to head a design team, shape project delivery, and mentor talent. You will oversee multiple timelines, budgets, and quality standards, review deliverables, manage key client relationships, and coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on diverse projects.

A Diploma or Degree in Lighting Design or related field and 8+ years in lighting with team leadership are required, along with

8+ years in lighting with team and project management experience.
Strong leadership, client management and communication skills.
Solid understanding of lighting projects, technical requirements and coordination.
Organised, commercially aware and able to manage multiple projects.
Singaporean national only applies.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the lighting design team, including workload, performance and development.
Oversee multiple projects to ensure timely delivery, quality and budget control.
Review project deliverables and provide direction to the design team.
Manage key client relationships and attend meetings, presentations and site discussions.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, resolve issues and manage project risks.
Oversee tenders, proposals and project documentation.
Support business development and identify new project opportunities.
Mentor and develop team members while driving team performance.
