Job summary

CTES Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to support a fast-growing technology start-up. The role covers end-to-end handling of commercial contracts, corporate compliance, and data protection across multiple jurisdictions, including Singapore.

You will draft and negotiate NDAs, vendor contracts, software licenses, distribution agreements, and hardware/service contracts. You will also advise HR on employment matters, oversee PDPA/GDPR compliance, work with external counsel on

Qualifications

Hands-on experience overseeing commercial contracts and corporate compliance.
Draft, review and negotiate NDAs, procurement, software licensing, distribution and hardware/service contracts.
Advise HR on employment matters and PDPA compliance.
Oversee PDPA/GDPR data protection and cross-border data governance.
Coordinate with external counsel on cross-border employment, IP protection and regulatory compliance.
Develop, update and maintain internal compliance policies and templates.
Conduct KYC/AML checks and establish compliance procedures.
Deliver legal training on contract fundamentals and data privacy.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day legal support to business, HR, finance, supply chain and sales teams.
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
Support corporate governance, board resolutions and subsidiary maintenance.
Advise on employment contracts, probation and termination processes.
Ensure data protection compliance and cross-border data governance.
