NAT AND NAT SEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support its construction, engineering and EPC projects from Singapore. The role covers tendering, contract negotiation, project execution, claims management and completion.

You will advise on risks, variations, extensions of time, liquidated damages and warranties while coordinating with commercial, procurement and engineering teams. Senior stakeholders and arbitration support are key elements.

Qualifications

Qualified lawyer with more than 6 years of post-qualification experience.
Strong experience in construction, engineering and EPC-related matters.
Experience gained in a reputable law firm and/or an in-house environment.

Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate EPC, EPCM, construction, engineering, procurement, supply, subcontracting and consultancy agreements.
Advise on project risks, variations, extensions of time, delay, liquidated damages, warranties and performance security.
Support tendering, contract administration and project delivery teams.
Manage claims, disputes and negotiations with contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
Work closely with commercial, procurement, engineering and project management teams.
Coordinate with external counsel and support arbitration, litigation or other dispute-resolution processes where required.
Develop contract templates, internal processes and risk-management practices.
