Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a qualified lawyer to lead contract matters on major projects. You will draft, negotiate and finalise contracts, review subcontractor and supplier agreements, and identify commercial risks.

You will provide guidance to project, procurement and finance teams, handle tenders, EOT and progress claims, and support dispute resolution. 5–8 years PQE in construction or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer, called to the Bar and in good standing in Singapore or a recognised common law jurisdiction.
• LL.B. or equivalent.
• 5–8 years PQE in a law firm or in-house legal environment.
• Strong experience in contracts, commercial/trade transactions, preferably within construction or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to completion.
• Review and negotiate main contracts, subcontractor and supplier agreements.
• Identify and mitigate legal, commercial and contractual risks.
• Monitor contract compliance, claims, variations and disputes.
• Advise project, procurement and finance teams on contractual matters.
• Support commercial strategy, pricing and contract negotiations.
• Review tenders and advise on legal risks and opportunities.
• Advise on EOT, progress claims and Loss & Expense claims.
• Support negotiations and resolution of commercial disputes.
• Provide legal advice on supplier recovery plans and project risks.
