Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of banking and finance transactions, including syndicated and bilateral loans, revolving credit facilities, trade finance, guarantees, and letters of credit.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate key financing documents such as term sheets, loan and security agreements, intercreditor agreements, and waivers or amendments.

  • Contribute to the structuring and execution of major project financing initiatives across the Group.

  • Partner with internal teams—including Treasury and Finance—to support banking relationships, financing strategies, and ongoing debt compliance obligations.

  • Ensure legal compliance with internal risk management, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Advise on corporate funding strategies, refinancing activities, and debt structuring solutions.

  • Manage and liaise with external legal counsel, particularly for cross-border transactions, ensuring efficient and effective legal coordination.

  • Stay abreast of developments in banking and financial regulations and provide proactive legal guidance to impacted business areas.

  • Support intra-group financing activities, including intercompany loan arrangements, with attention to tax and transfer pricing considerations.

  • Assist in negotiating financial covenants and maintain effective communication with lenders and financial institutions.

To Qualify:

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and 8 - 14 or more years of experience in related field

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure
