Qualifications

Job Description :

The legal Counsels’ primary focus is on the sales transactions of the Company

· Provide Management accurate and timely counsel on legal topics relating to NDA’s, Vendor Registration processes, Code of Conduct, Master Agreements, Sales and Purchases contracts and agreements;

· Review of Sales and Purchase Contracts;

· Liaise with Sales and Product Management on proposed wordings and contents of Contracts

· Liaise with Finance on revenue recognition / possible performance obligations implications in the customer contracts.

· Maintain contract administration for contracts under negotiation and signed contracts;

· Coordinate signing and distribution of final contract.

· Liaise with external law firms for various issues

· Act as gate keeper to prevent the Company from entering into unfavorable contract.

· To carry out any contract related projects as assigned by the management.

Requirements :

Education

· BSc or MSc degree in Law

Work experience

· Proven experience (min 2 years) as a legal counsel in business environment

Other requirement criteria

· Fluent in English and Chinese (both spoken as in writing due to Chinese customers in China & Taiwan)

· Strong personality

· High degree of professional ethics and integrity

· Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information

· Outstanding communication skills

· Knowledge, experience and practice on ESG initiatives is an added advantage
