Job summary

SEPHORA, a global prestige beauty retailer under the LVMH Group, seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Singapore team. You will advise Southeast Asia and Oceania on technology contracts, data privacy, and general commercial matters.

You will partner with business leaders to draft and negotiate SaaS, cloud, and e-commerce agreements while addressing regulatory requirements and risk management in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical legal expertise with sound business judgment and stakeholder influence.
• Experience spanning commercial contracting, compliance, privacy, digital and technology, retail operations, consumer protection, marketing, IP, and disputes.
• Special focus on technology contracting and data protection/privacy.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted legal advisor to business leaders across Southeast Asia and Oceania.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements, with primary focus on technology, SaaS, cloud, digital services, e-commerce, and supply chain contracts.
• Advise on data privacy, protection matters, data processing agreements, and consumer protection regulations.
• Manage contentious matters, commercial disputes, regulatory inquiries, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee external legal counsel relationships and drive improvements in legal operations across the region.
