What you will be working on:
As part of the role, the successful candidate is expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:
- Teaching & Mentorship
- Facilitate learning for diploma (PET) and part-time adult (CET) learners in business, law, and finance, with a focus on conveyancing practice, real estate transactions, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Design and deliver modules related to legal technology, financial principles, and property law, incorporating practical workflows such as conveyancing.
- Mentor students through applied projects and real-world case studies to develop relevant skills for conveyancing, legal practice, and financial services.
- Curriculum & Workshop Development
- Design and develop curricula and course materials that combine traditional legal principles, financial concepts, and technology.
- Create workshops on conveyancing, financial literacy, financial planning, and legal and financial technology applications.
- Industry Collaboration
- Partner with industry stakeholders on consultancy projects to implement technology-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with industry to keep curricula aligned with current practices and trends.
- Strategic Initiatives & Leadership
- Participate in committees, student activities, events, and competitions to support strategic initiatives.
- Lead development and review of academic programs to ensure industry relevance and academic rigor.
- Take on leadership roles within committees to foster innovation and excellence in legal and financial education.
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualification in Law, with specialization or substantial experience in Conveyancing and Property Law. Additional qualifications or experience in Finance, Business, or Technology are advantageous.
- Professional legal experience in conveyancing or real estate law, familiar with Singapore’s regulatory frameworks (e.g., SLA, IRAS, URA).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills to engage diverse learners.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic educational environment.
- Passion for mentoring and developing future-ready learners across youth and adult segments.
