Job summary

Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Executive (Business Analyst) to join the Centre for Industry & Lifelong Learning (CIL3). You will analyse processes, drive improvements, and support CET programs and TRAINING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM operations end-to-end.

You will collaborate with academic and non-academic staff and external partners to translate needs into practical solutions, enhance course administration, and ensure smooth CET service delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven years of relevant experience in business analysis, project management, or related field, preferably within the education sector, public sector, or a similar environment focused on lifelong learning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of the Singapore education landscape and lifelong learning initiatives will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide better support to CET schools on TMS to optimise system usage.
• Provide Level 1 support to address user issues, troubleshoot, and coordinate with vendors to resolve system problems.
• Accelerate change requests and drive enhancements in STEP to better support CET operations and ensure a more responsive system.
• Conduct impact analysis on service requests for data patches or change requests.
• Assist in execution of UAT plans, coordinating with end-users, and taking charge of issue resolution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to define requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Enhance end-to-end course administration support, including course setup, to streamline processes.
• Work closely with both academic and non-academic staff to ensure smooth management of courses.
• Provide general administrative support for the department and maintain proper documentation.

This role involves analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimise system usage and improve effectiveness and support both ongoing Training Management System operations.
