Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Singapore seeks a Senior Lead Architect to drive architectural strategy across enterprise platforms.

You will work with regional stakeholders to define target state, translate complex tech issues for leadership, and lead evaluations of new technologies with strong governance and security considerations. The role requires cloud-native experience, advanced architecture skills, and a track record in AI/ML integration within enterprise environments, with a focus on the APAC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Formal training or certification on infrastructure architecture principles and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s), applications, and architecture
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
• Ability to understand technology in the context of the business strategy
• Practical cloud native experience
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
• Demonstrated experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Works with regional stakeholders to understand local requirements, implement local solutions and align to target state architecture.
• Translates complex technical issues to leadership to drive firm’s innovation and enable strategic decisions about target state architecture.
• Provides feedback and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices.
• Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks.
• Leverages enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis and decisioning with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Establishes reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC/toolchain practices, ensuring traceability, resiliency, and security controls.
• Provides technical guidance to support the business and its teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Drives decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
• Serves as a function-wide SME in one or more focus areas.
• Contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and SDLC practices.
• Influences peers and project decisions to consider leading-edge technologies.
