Job summary

ICN DESIGN INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Landscape Architect with MLA/BLA and 5+ years of post graduate experience to lead creative design and coordinate planning across multiple projects.

You will develop schematic through construction documentation, ensure local authority compliance (Green Mark, submissions), and mentor junior staff while collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of post-graduate landscape architecture experience.
• Experience with local construction documentation and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of local authority compliance and Green Mark.
• Ability to present concepts clearly to clients and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple landscape projects simultaneously.
• Organize teams and tasks to meet briefs and milestones.
• Ensure design development and construction documentation packages are complete.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain professional engagement.

Job description

• Possess MLA, BLA or similar related qualificationswith talents in creative design and graphic communications. Similarprofessional background in architecture may be considered.
• Strong and proven talent and capability in creativeConcept and Planning design and being able to present compellingly.
• Proven experience and skills in Schematic Design,and in putting together complete Design Development and ConstructionDocumentation packages.
• Have sound technical knowledge and be very familiarwith local authority compliances and agency initiatives, submissions andrequirements including landscape replacements, Green Mark, etc.
• Confident clear communications (English) withClients, Consultants and Contractors in all project activities.
• Represent the office professionally and respect allClient and collaborating groups as well as individuals of different seniorityand culture, including co-workers.
• Lead a number of projects simultaneously, workingindependently, organizing teams/tasks clearly to respond to project briefs, schedulesand milestones.
• Proficient in Autodesk (AutoCAD) with skills inAdobe (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.) and Sketchup, to generate,communicate, and document project outputs. Skills in Enscape, Lumion or othergraphic software and, a working knowledge of Revit would be an added advantage.
• Be approachable and mentor younger staff while maintainingactive participation in professional/staff development.
• Always remain focused and not be distracted bysocial media during office hours.
• Support the Directors and Associates in ensuringthat project milestones are met and that deadlines are not missed.
• Must possess a proactive and positive personality andoutlook and be able to organize, motivate and lead others.
• Be able to manage difficult situationsdiplomatically and always remain calm and even-tempered.
• Be a team player with a friendly and cooperativedisposition.
• A minimum of five (5) year's post graduate work inlandscape architectural projects is required, with proven local constructiondocumentation and implementation experience.
