Senior Lab Officer (FAB Operation) (NSTIC), IME

Be part of an exciting FAB Operations Team working on cutting‑edge process technologies. This position is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple types of semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment.
• Use computer‑based programs and applications to perform daily duties.
• Operate equipment based on required process specifications (procedures, change notifications, etc.).
• Participate actively and be responsible for assigned on‑the‑job assignments and other required trainings when requested.
• Provide machine operations coverage and backup support when necessary.
• Understand the equipment in‑charge, monitor performance, and communicate with engineers in‑charge to recover from equipment errors promptly.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork to promptly execute process sequences and data collections if required.
• Follow safety protocols and rules in the clean room, ensure 6S in the work environment, and report hazards, suspicious or abnormal activities or personnel if identified.
• Address potential areas for improvement such as wafer processing cycle time, equipment utilisation, safety/compliance, and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Micro‑Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor processes preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in semiconductor processes (Photolithography, Dry/Wet Etch/Clean, Thin Films, Diffusions, Chemical Mechanical Polishings, Metrology, etc.) will be an advantage.
• Must be a self‑starter, dependable, and highly motivated.
