Job summary

Bitdeer, a Singapore-headquartered leader in Bitcoin mining and AI cloud, seeks an experienced SRE/Platform Engineer to run large-scale GPU-enabled Kubernetes clusters. You will own GPU scheduling, BMaaS provisioning, and CRD-driven automation to scale GPU workloads across global datacenters.

You will integrate AI frameworks, ensure strict isolation, and build resilient operator and remediation workflows that reduce manual toil while delivering high availability and efficient GPU utilization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Kubernetes operations with GPU workloads.
• Deep knowledge of Nvidia GPU operator and GPU scheduling in K8S.
• Hands-on experience with multi-tenant K8S platforms and IaaS automation.

Responsibilities

• Operate production Kubernetes clusters optimized for GPU workloads (100–10,000 GPUs).
• Manage Nvidia GPU operator, device plugin, MIG configuration, and GPU time-slicing policies.
• Implement topology-aware scheduling, GPU locality, and NVLink awareness.
• Develop CRDs for GPU workload lifecycle management.
• Integrate AI frameworks: Slurm on K8S, Ray on K8S, Kubeflow.
• Ensure multi-tenant isolation with namespaces, network policies, quotas, RBAC, and security standards.
• Provide BMaaS provisioning and tenant onboarding workflows.
• Use Terraform, Helm and GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux) for infrastructure as code.
• Define and monitor SLI/SLOs; manage incidents with runbooks and post-incident reviews.
• Maintain monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
• Handle GPU node failures with automated dr isn/drain and rescheduling.
• Develop remediation workflows and CRD-driven automation for platform reliability.
