The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Job Description:
  1. Responsible for driving commercial growth on a regional level for strategic brand partners for Shopee
  2. Engage brand partners in executing joint business planning by using data, deep category insights, and in alignment with business objectives.
  3. Work with local Shopee teams to identify key challenges and opportunities and actively help with problem solving for key accounts
  4. Conduct category analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in business performance, and to recommend marketing, pricing, and product strategies to grow the key accounts regionally
  5. Work cross-functionally with product, operations, and marketing teams to support growth opportunities for brand partners
  6. Engage with C-Level / senior leadership both within Shopee and from strategic brand partners to drive key agenda and initiatives
  7. Lead a team of talented individuals and drive the strategy for a category or a sub-category
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  2. At least 10 (senior role) years of working experience in management consulting, or e-commerce industry, or has passion in the e-commerce industry
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of Southeast Asian (SEA) markets, with strong research capabilities and the ability to apply regional insights effectively
  4. Strong business acumen, critical thinking and ability to form actionable insights and recommendations using advanced analytic skills
  5. Excellent organisational, analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  6. Entrepreneurial, driven, and motivated
  7. Good team player, positive attitude and eager to learn
  8. Leadership experiences is a plus, as this role offers potential progression to a team lead position
