Job summary

re-zoo-me in Singapore is seeking a Java SRE with 8-15 years of IT experience and a strong background in Java/J2EE to join our production platform operations.

You will support 24x7 environments, implement chaos engineering, RCA, and end-to-end automation using Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Knowledge of monitoring and APM tools is essential for performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 8 to 15 years of IT experience with strong JAVA/J2EE
• Minimum 5+ years in SRE, Production Support, Platform Engineering, or DevOps
• Experience supporting mission-critical banking or financial systems
• Strong exposure to 24x7 production environments with stringent SLA/SLO commitments
• Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker containerization
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
• Capacity planning and performance engineering
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Problem Management
• Chaos Engineering and Resilience Testing
• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk
• APM tools (Dynatrace/AppDynamics/New Relic)
• End-to-end operational automation
• Self-healing platform implementation
• Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, SonarQube
• Fair knowledge on Kafka, Hadoop/Cloudera ecosystem, Spark
