Job summary

Innovative Consulting PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Java EE software engineer with 3+ years of experience in Springboot and ReactJS.

You will design system and sub-systems, implement code, and conduct unit testing, while supporting the system through integration, performance, and user acceptance testing. Documentation and post-implementation maintenance are part of the role. The ideal candidate has strong Java EE knowledge, design pattern understanding, and familiarity with REST/SOAP,

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in CS/CE or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of Java EE application development with Springboot & ReactJS.
• Solid understanding of Java EE architecture, design patterns, and OOP.
• Experience with Spring/Hibernate/ORM/JMS or similar frameworks.
• Experience with HTML/JS frameworks (ReactJS), CSS.
• Experience with RESTful APIs/JSON, SOAP/XML.
• Experience with MySQL RDBMS.
• Experience in setting up Springboot applications.
• Experience with version control (Git/SVN/TFS).
• Experience with incident/bug tracking (Remedy, Jira).
• Nice to have SonarQube, Jenkins CI/CD.
• Nice to have Openshift and AWS services.
• Strong problem solving and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Understand system processes, flows, and both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Involve in system, sub-system, interface and database design.
• Code and perform unit testing of functional modules.
• Provide technical support and bug fixes during testing and performance assessments.
• Assist in system documentation.
• Provide maintenance support and post-implementation fixes.
