Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is hiring a senior software engineer in Singapore to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications. You will produce both high-level and detailed design documents and help shape system architectures using Java/JEE on UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on software development, strong SDLC documentation skills, and experience with Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Experience in SDLC and producing SDLC documentation.
• Experience in Java/JEE, web programming on UNIX/LINUX and Windows environments.
• Experience in web-based application development and JDBC/SQL.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and CI.
• Experience in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Create high-level and detailed software design documents.
• Develop system architectures and design software components.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing systems.
• Analyze and improve the performance and efficiency of software applications.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
