Job summary

Citi Singapore is seeking a Java Micro Service Developer to join an agile team building enterprise-scale applications on Spring Boot, Java, and Angular Material in a CI/CD environment on ECS. You will design, develop, test, and deploy microservices, while ensuring performance and reliability.

The role requires strong core Java/J2EE experience, microservices design, REST services, and familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD tools, and databases.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Java development with microservices and Spring-based stack.
• 5+ years in Core Java/J2EE and related technologies.
• Experience with RESTful services and SOA/microservices architecture.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Database knowledge in SQL Server or MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency microservices.
• Implement using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Contribute in Agile environment using JIRA.
• Develop and deploy CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
• Write unit tests and perform integration testing.
• Ensure security compliance with Citi standards.
• Collaborate with SRE on monitoring and reliability.
• Provide Level 3 support for critical issues.
