Job summary

Aleph is seeking a Java Lead Engineer to join a collaborative Agile team. You will build high-availability, distributed Java applications where performance matters, coordinating across infrastructure layers.

You will design, develop, test and deploy modules while mentoring junior developers and ensuring security and up-to-date technology stacks. A solution-driven, proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong experience in Java/J2EE, SQL, JSP, Servlet, JDBC, RESTful Services, Web Services, XML, JSON.
• Strong experience in frameworks such as EJB, Camel, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MyBatis.
• Strong experience in RabbitMQ, Kafka.
• Knowledge of Oracle, DB2 or similar DBMS.
• CI tools experience (Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Maven).
• Experience with web technologies and middleware (JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic).
• Designing software and database objects; unit testing and debugging; peer code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze user requirements.
• Develop prototype plans for an enterprise system and integration strategies.
• Develop modules and delegate coding to junior developers.
• Test completed code modules and fix issues for deployment.
• Plan and execute deployment of system features and monitor integration.
• Build, test and support mobile/web applications.
• Recommend software solutions for banking functionalities.
• Prioritize and manage tasks across the software development life cycle.
• Ensure applications are secure and up-to-date.
