We’re partnering with a globally renowned financial firm to find a Senior Java Engineer for their front office technology group in Singapore. This is a hybrid role at the intersection of Core Java engineering, DevOps, and SRE. You will focus on building the developer platforms, tools, and automation that enable high-performance engineering across trading and pricing teams.

What You’ll Work On

• Design and build high-performance internal tooling used by developers supporting trading systems

• Develop observability, testing, and CI/CD solutions optimised for low-latency, mission-critical environments

• Help establish and mature SRE and DevOps practices within the eTrading engineering group

• Solve complex performance, scalability, and operational challenges across development platforms

• Partner closely with low-latency engineers, traders, and infrastructure teams

What You Bring

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with strong Core Java expertise

• Deep knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and system-level performance tuning

• Interest or background in automation, platform engineering, or DevOps practices

• Understanding of low-latency systems is a strong advantage
