Job summary

Combuilder Pte Ltd in Singapore is looking for a Java Developer to join our engineering team. You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot, and build RESTful APIs and microservices for business systems.

Collaborate with business analysts and QA to develop features, write tests, review code, and support deployments. You will work with MySQL/MariaDB, ensure clean architecture, and communicate effectively to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Java development.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Good understanding of OO programming and software design.
• Experience with MySQL, MariaDB or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices for business applications and system integrations.
• Work with SQL databases, including database design and query optimisation.
• Work with business analysts and QA teams to develop and test application features.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Investigate and resolve application issues.
• Support deployment activities and maintain technical documentation.
