Job summary

The Software Practice Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based software consulting firm, seeks a skilled Java Developer to join our team and deliver impactful software for clients.

You will design, develop, and maintain mission-critical systems, own end-to-end delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of Java and Spring Boot experience, plus microservices and AWS familiarity, to ship robust APIs and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Min. 2 years of Application Development experience.
• Strong server-side programming in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience in Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Event-Driven architecture, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Boot, Java, Web Development in Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Have a passion for delivering zero-defect high-quality code, with a proactive mindset.
• Own end to end delivery responsibility for modules, participate in CI activities, automation frameworks for testing and deployments, and other related items in addition to contributing to core product code.
• Interact with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations.
