Citi is seeking an Equity Derivatives Java Developer (AVP) to build high-performing, scalable Java applications for our global derivatives platforms. The role combines hands-on coding with design and integration work across teams in a hybrid Singapore setup.

You will apply SOLID, TDD/BDD, and RESTful API design to enhance trade capture and lifecycle systems, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while collaborating across time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum.
• Experience with Git and common source control patterns.
• Proficiency with code quality tools (e.g., Sonar) and building robust test pyramids.
• Experience designing APIs and web applications using OOP, TDD/BDD, and SOLID principles.

Responsabilités

• Write high-quality, testable Java code adhering to SOLID design principles.
• Plan tasks proactively and work with minimal supervision.
• Profile and troubleshoot existing Equity Derivatives components.
• Follow defined software development processes and participate in code reviews.
• Coordinate deployment, testing, and release of applications; assist with L3 escalations.
