Job summary

EVYONIC SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Java backend engineer to design and build enterprise-grade systems. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-enabled solutions on AWS, delivering scalable, secure services.

You'll implement REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven components with Kafka/MQTT, and containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes, while collaborating in an Agile team to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in Java development and strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures for enterprise backends.
• Hands-on experience building REST and SOAP web services.
• Practical experience with event-driven or messaging systems (MQTT, Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Experience with J2EE technologies and enterprise app servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat).
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases (e.g., Cassandra, Oracle, MySQL).
• Experience with CI/CD automation and Jenkins-based pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and runtime environments, plus AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate scalable REST and SOAP services for enterprise integrations.
• Implement asynchronous components using MQTT, Kafka, or ActiveMQ.
• Develop cloud-enabled backend solutions on AWS, including serverless components.
• Design and maintain containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop data-access layers across relational and NoSQL databases using Java ORMs.
• Integrate with legacy enterprise platforms including J2EE environments and app servers.
• Implement security using Spring Security, JWT, and LDAP-based authentication.
• Develop automated build, test, and deployment workflows with Jenkins and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate on technical design, system integration, code reviews, and Agile delivery.
