Job summary

EVYONIC Solutions Pte. Ltd. seeks a seasoned software architect to lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Java applications. You will shape backend architecture, implement microservices and RESTful APIs, and guide teams across cloud, container, and DevOps domains.

The role requires deep experience with Spring Boot, distributed systems, databases, and messaging platforms. You will collaborate with frontend teams to integrate React-based interfaces and drive scalable, secure delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development with Java/J2EE and backend architecture.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and enterprise applications.
• Experience in microservices, distributed systems, and service-oriented architecture.
• Design/restful APIs and service integrations.
• OO programming, design principles, and patterns; clean coding
• Hands-on with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Docker/containerized deployment experience.
• Messaging platforms like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Elasticsearch and Couchbase in enterprise apps.
• React frontend-backend integration.
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and ORM like JPA/Hibernate.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Gradle.
• Experience in scalability, performance optimization, and secure development.
• Lead technical design, mentor developers, and collaborate跨跨 teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Design scalable, distributed backend systems that meet performance, availability, and reliability requirements.
• Convert complex business requirements into technical solutions, application designs, and implementation plans.
• Establish architectural guidelines, coding standards, and design patterns to ensure maintainable and high-quality software.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication between distributed services.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Drive cloud-based development and deployment across AWS and Azure environments.
• Oversee containerization, deployment processes, and integration using Docker and DevOps tools.
• Evaluate technical solutions, identify architectural risks, and recommend improvements for performance and security.
• Lead technical discussions, review code, resolve engineering challenges, and mentor teams.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate React apps with backend services.
• Promote continuous improvement in development practices and automation.
