Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a Software Engineer to join the CBD payment team, ensuring MEPS+ reliability and quality. You will focus on code review, security validation, and test automation across payments processing systems.

You will drive automation, conduct release verification, and contribute to incident response with vendors, operations teams, and security peers. This role suits a detail‑oriented troubleshooter committed to robust financial tech.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing Java applications with strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Watermelon) and test automation.
• Experience supporting production systems and debugging complex issues.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment.
• Familiarity with J2EE, JBoss EAP, and Oracle SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Code Review Gate: review fixes against designs, document findings, and advise remediation.
• Lead weekly security findings review and validate remediation.
• Validate technical solutions meet design, performance, and security needs.
• Develop contingency exercises and support audit responses.
• Maintain and enhance MEPS+ test automation scripts and run release verifications.
• Define SLIs/SLOs with Ops and SRE, and participate in incident response.
