Job summary

A leading Asia-based asset management firm in Singapore seeks a Senior Product Specialist focusing on Japanese equities. You will partner with portfolio managers and regional distribution teams to drive business development, client engagement, and product positioning across institutional and intermediary channels.

Key duties include leading Japanese equity product leadership, supporting fundraising, client discussions, and producing market commentary and client-ready materials.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Japanese equity market dynamics and governance trends.
• Ability to discuss investment products, portfolio construction, risk management and market outlooks with sophisticated investors.
• Fluent Japanese with very strong business-level English for stakeholder liaison.
• Excellent presentation, public-speaking and training capabilities.
• Collaborative working style with regional teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert and primary product representative for Japanese equity strategies.
• Bridge between investment professionals, distribution teams and external clients.
• Translate investment views and performance drivers into compelling client narratives.
• Partner with portfolio managers to communicate investment philosophy and process.
