Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Research, design, develop, and deploy solutions to meet organizational needs.
  2. Implement security measures to protect data and IT systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  3. Administer the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance.
  4. Assist the manager in leading or co-leading various IT projects.
  5. Monitor logs for security threats and abnormalities.
  6. Provide technical support to staff and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
  7. Manage incidents and problems effectively.
  8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize functionality and user experience.
  9. Serve as backup personnel for the IT Support Office on vessels.
  10. Handle IT procurement, billing management, and vendor management.
  11. Conduct daily, monthly, and annual IT operational checklists.
  12. Automate IT processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  13. Opportunity to travel for vessel support.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Strong in M365 admin modules with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in deploying and administering Microsoft Intune, Compliance, and Security modules.
  2. Over 5 years of experience as L2 support in mid to large enterprises with more than 100 staff, with proven experience in managing IT projects as a project manager or facilitator.
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues effectively to users.
  4. Strong networking skills and experience managing next-generation firewalls.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  6. Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  7. At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  8. ITIL certification is required.
  9. MS-102 - M365 Certified Administrator Expert (preferred).
