Job description

Key Technical Responsibilities

  1. Deliver advanced onsite and remote Level 2 support for complex issues related to IT hardware, software, firewalls, routers, switches, VLANs, and network infrastructure.
  2. Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard all company data, systems, and networks.
  3. Utilize scripting and automation tools to streamline IT operations and improve overall system efficiency.
  4. Perform regular patch management for operating systems, firmware, and network/security appliances.
  5. Configure and administer critical IT systems such as NAS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, IIS, and related platforms.
  6. Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server OS, virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware), and cloud-based infrastructures.
  7. Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and identify improvement opportunities.

User Account & Access Management

  1. Manage user provisioning: create, modify, deactivate, and reset accounts.
  2. Handle access permissions for cloud and applications.
  3. Support system backup/recovery/restoration.

Projects & Compliance

  1. Plan, design, and deploy new IT solutions and infrastructure.
  2. Lead IT project rollouts and system deployments (Server, Firewall, NAS, Network).
  3. Manage documentation for IT systems and security compliance.
  4. Compile client audit reports and ensure SOPs are followed.

Team Training & SOP

  1. Develop SOP and document IT processes, training guides, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  2. Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  3. Proactively test and implement new IT solutions.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  2. At least 3–5 years of experience in L2 IT support with networking knowledge.
  3. Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting routers, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs.
  4. Hands-on experience with O365, AD, NAS, and Remote Monitoring tools.
  5. Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and IT compliance.
  6. Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  7. Able to work independently with a strong sense of initiative and urgency.
  8. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

  1. Certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft/O365 Admin).
  2. Experience with cloud migrations or server deployments.
  3. Past involvement in training, mentoring, or leading small teams.
