Job description

Join us as an IT Senior System Engineer! Our company provides award winning trading systems to majority of the financial brokerages in Singapore & Malaysia. Our clients also include major international banks in Asia.

We are also currently on a hybrid work arrangement where eligible colleages can work from home on selected days of the week. Candidates will need to have stable internet connection while working from home.

This position is based in our Singapore office, located at Capital Tower (Tanjong Pagar mrt).

You will be involved with

• Perform daily applications & system health checks

• Manage and support company's IT infrastructure (Network, System, Storage etc)

• Provide end user devices support for internal staff

• Prepare and maintain proper documentations on IT assets, network diagrams, system configurations etc

• Deploying application releases to UAT & Production environment

• Liaise with customer’s IT personnel to identify problems and provide solutions

• Provide call-support and on-site support whenever necessary

• Document and track incidents with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions

• Occasional after office hours and weekend support is required (Off in lieu provided)

• Any other tasks assigned

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT

• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in IT Infrastructure / IT Operations / Application Support

• Strong working experience in RHEL ,Firewalls, Hypervisor/Containerization

• Intermediate knowledge on network setup ( VLAN, IPSec VPN, SDWAN, Routing protocol etc)

• Able to work independently with good initiative and willingness to take on responsibility

• Possess RHCSA/RHCE certification will be an added advantage

• Some development experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, JSP, JAVA, Unix shell script or JQuery will be advantageous

  
  Having these extra skills would be great:

• RHCSA/RHCE certification

• Working experience in CI/CD implementation

• Working experience in Oracle and MySQL database

• Working experience in the Financial Services environment
