A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking an IT support specialist. You will be responsible for setting up computers, maintaining IT equipment, and providing support to users. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and at least 5 years of relevant experience in IT.
Job Description:
Setup computers, provide end-user support for company & project offices (computers and applications)
Maintain the functionality of IT equipment, including hardware, software, network, etc..
Account creation for emails, users AD account, printers, applications etc.
Update inventory, documentation, follow up on licensing renewal.
Coordination and liaise with regional office, provide guidance to users.
Perform regular check on file servers and data backup.
Remoting or travel to site office to support users, or coordination with vendors/suppliers.
System preventive maintenance.
Ad hoc duty assigned.
Job requirement:
Diploma / Degree in Computer IT related discipline
At least 5 years of experience on troubleshooting and upgrading of computers.
Knowledge of windows client, server and networking, tcp/ip, etc..
Able to work independently, including conducting investigations and research to resolve IT-related problems
Willing to support after office hours if required, especially urgent matters.
Positive attitude and a team player.
