Job summary

Avensys Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong Financial Services background to lead end-to-end technology projects within banking, insurance, fintech, or other financial environments. You will be responsible for project planning, stakeholder management, delivery governance, risk management, and ensuring projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget.

The role requires PMP or related certifications and a track record of multi-sub-project program

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in computer science or business.
MBA qualification will be looked upon favourably.

Responsibilities

Manage programs/projects on behalf of the Corporate Systems team.
Develop, manage and improve stakeholder relations – both internal and external.
Use project management artefacts to ensure effective outcomes such as accuracy of estimating and forecasting.
Ensure delivery timelines and schedules are met with adherence to quality standards.
Lead in identifying business impacts from project implementation and manage them proactively.
Support the Corporate Systems delivery team with resource, reporting and financial inputs.
Deliver financial submissions and updates to sponsors and senior stakeholders.
Prepare monthly financial forecasts and reconciliations against budget.
