A leading staffing and recruitment firm in Singapore seeks an experienced IT professional to lead regional IT operations. The role demands strong leadership skills, extensive IT experience, and the ability to ensure smooth operational functionality across multiple locations. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields, along with proven experience in managing IT operations in a banking environment.
Recruiting for tenured and highly experienced and hands-on IT professional to lead and support IT operations across regional offices, ensuring seamless day-to-day functionality, regulatory compliance, and business continuity. This role requires a proactive leader who can step in as the point of contact and working closely with Head of Department, manage critical systems, and provide technical support across infrastructure, security, and application domains.
Act as the primary point of contact for IT operations for HOD.
Execute and monitor Start-of-Day and End-of-Day operations for Singapore and Shanghai offices.
Provide hands-on helpdesk support for end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, email systems, internet, and LAN issues.
Maintain and support Singapore-hosted systems and reports in response to IT service requests.
Ensure IT documentation, manuals, and procedures are up to date and compliant with regulatory, Head Office, and ABS guidelines.
Coordinate and prepare systems for Annual Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises in line with Business Continuity Management (BCM) requirements.
Administer and maintain IT security devices, servers, and endpoints in accordance with Group ISO standards and industry best practices.
Lead vendor evaluations and manage contract renewals for IT services and infrastructure.
Administer databases and support the development and maintenance of reporting programs.
Ensure timely compliance with local, China regulatory, and Head Office IT requirements.
Collaborate regularly with teams in Singapore, Shanghai, Head Office, and IBG to meet operational and project needs.
Provide coverage for IT team members during absences and support ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Head of IT.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are preferred.
14+ years of relevant IT experience, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
Strong understanding of banking IT operations and regulatory environments is an advantage.
Proven experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment.
