A social service agency in Singapore is seeking a Data Analyst to manage data from internal systems and external sources. You will analyze trends and support program evaluation through data analytics. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree and has at least 3 years of experience in data analytics. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential. This role offers the opportunity to drive insights and improvements across the organization.
JOB SCOPE/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Management & Analysis
Collect, clean, and analysedata from internal systems (e.g., client management systems, programme databases) and external sources.
Identify trends, patterns, and gaps in service delivery or client outcomes.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using tools like Power BI or Excel.
Programme Evaluation
Support outcome measurement of social service programmes through data analytics.
Work closely with programme teams to evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcome indicators.
Assist in reporting impact metrics to funders, board, and regulatory agencies (e.g., NCSS, MSF).
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with caseworkers, programme heads, and management to understand data needs and translate them into insights.
Provide training and support to non-technical users to promote data literacy within the agency.
Data Governance & Compliance
Ensure data handling complies with Data Protection policies and PDPA regulations.
Maintain data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
Business Needs Analysis
Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements.
Understand pain points in current processes and propose effective solutions.
Process Improvement
Map and review existing business processes
Identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities to streamline workflows.
Recommend and support the implementation of improvements.
JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science or other equivalent qualifications
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in data analytics and visualization
Experience working with statistical software such as Power BI, R, and Python
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be considered an advantage
Strong presentation skills and proficiency in the use of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Strong project management skills and ability to drive change management and continuous improvements
