Job summary

Flowdesk, a cloud-native crypto market-making firm, seeks a Secure Engineering IT professional in Singapore. You will configure and maintain IT systems across the organisation, focusing on identity, endpoint, and SaaS platforms, while owning vendor contracts end-to-end.

You will evaluate new tooling, manage procurement, and act as the main contact for vendor matters, collaborating with IT Operations to translate needs into concrete configurations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in IT engineering or a similar technical role, ideally in SaaS-heavy, regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of modern IT stacks in regulated environments, particularly SaaS, identity, and endpoint platforms.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts - evaluation, procurement, renewal, and negotiation.
• Able to work autonomously and see projects through with minimal senior management input, while remaining collaborative with the wider team.
• Comfortable in a small, high-ownership team.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain IT systems across the organisation, working within the team's core platforms (Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Cloudflare) as part of the secure engineering team
• Source and evaluate new tooling - run vendor assessments, manage procurement, and bring in what the business needs
• Own the lifecycle of existing vendor contracts - renewal dates, terms, and costs kept current, and renegotiation opportunities flagged before they're missed
• Act as the main point of contact for vendor account and contract matters
• Work with IT Operations to turn their operational needs into system configuration and tooling decisions
• Run your own projects with a good degree of autonomy, keeping senior management informed and looping them in where their input adds value
• Take part in an IT on-call rota
• Provide support to IT Operations as needed
