Job description

We are seeking a skilled Senior iOS Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing high-quality iOS applications and the ability to take projects from concept to implementation. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers, to create engaging and user-friendly mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of our iOS applications.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Strong experience minimizing failures and recovery without user intervention.
• Knowledge of iOS app development principles and best practices.
• Healthcare industry experience highly preferable.
• Must be a self-starter and able to operate independently.
• Able to work autonomously with limited guidance.
• Ability to guide and mentor juniors and peers.
• Ability to think creatively and work in a lean & agile approach to solving complex problems.

Qualifications:

• Degree qualification in IT or an Engineering discipline.
• Experience in building iOS mobile applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Objective-C knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of web and systems integration technology.
• Experience setting up and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with source code management tools like SVN and Git.
• Deployment scripting skills.
• Minimum 8 years of iOS experience, including at least 2 years working on a project using BLE.
