Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Investment Product Manager to join us. This role sits at the intersection of investment strategy, product structuring, and client delivery, and is central to driving the growth and innovation of our investment product offering across Asia Pacific.
The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, distribution teams, compliance, and external partners to design, position, and manage a range of investment solutions—including mutual funds, discretionary mandates, structured products, and alternative strategies—that meet evolving client needs and align with market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Development: Lead the ideation, structuring, and launch of new investment products across asset classes, tailored to institutional and high-net-worth clients in the region.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full product lifecycle,from initial concept and market analysis through to onboarding, regulatory approval, pricing, and ongoing monitoring.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify white spaces and ensure product relevance and differentiation in a rapidly evolving landscape.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with investment, sales, legal, risk, compliance, and operations teams to ensure successful execution and alignment across functions.
- Sales Enablement & Client Engagement: Provide in-depth product training, marketing support, and technical content to relationship managers and institutional sales teams. Participate in client meetings to articulate investment strategies and product value propositions.
- Regulatory and Risk Oversight: Ensure all products adhere to MAS guidelines and global regulatory standards. Proactively identify and mitigate product risks.
- Innovation Focus: Explore and integrate digital and ESG themes into product design where applicable, staying ahead of structural and thematic shifts in the market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in investment product management, product development, or a closely related function within asset management, private banking, or wealth management.
- Deep understanding of investment products across public and private markets, including portfolio construction principles and regulatory frameworks in Singapore and the broader APAC region.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and work in a matrixed, high-performance environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex investment ideas into client-ready solutions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English; fluency in Mandarin. You are required to work closely with stakeholders in our China office.
