Job summary

Woodlands Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the Interventional Radiology unit in Singapore.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedural stages, assist radiologists and radiographers, support sedation and contrast administration, and contribute to patient education and safety.

Candidates with Interventional Radiology experience and post-basic qualifications are preferred; shifts, weekends, and on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Diploma and/or recognised Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Post Basic Certificate / Advanced Diploma advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting.
• Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• Strong communication and service-excellence orientation.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced procedural setting.
• Willing to participate in on-call duties and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after IR procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor clinical status.
• Assist during procedures as scrub and/or circulating nurse.
• Support sedation, medication administration, contrast administration, and monitoring.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-care.
• Maintain accurate nursing records.
• Precept and mentor junior nurses.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Roaster on-call duties as required.
