Job summary

UTAC is seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional to provide independent assurance over risk management, internal controls, and governance. You will report to the Senior Internal Audit Manager and perform comprehensive audits across multiple functions and geographic locations, including Singapore.

You will develop audit scopes and programs, conduct operational and compliance audits, evaluate controls, and report findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• COSO Internal Control Framework knowledge required.
• 6+ years in internal audit, risk or assurance; strong operational audits.
• Professional qualification (CIA, CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred; Big Four experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop audit scopes, programs, and testing procedures.
• Conduct operational, process, and compliance audits across functions.
• Evaluate internal controls adequacy and policy compliance.
• Identify control weaknesses and root causes.
• Recommend practical corrective actions to management.
• Discuss findings with process owners and management.
• Maintain audit independence and build collaborative relationships.
• Prepare clear internal audit reports with management responses.
• Maintain complete working papers and documentation.
• Monitor progress on corrective action implementation.
• Verify control effectiveness through follow-up procedures.
• Participate in special projects and Code of Conduct investigations.
• Audit UTAC facilities in Singapore and overseas as needed.
