Senior Internal Audit Lead – Digital Banking

Job summary

Sea’s Finance department supports the accounting and finance needs of Garena, Shopee, and Monee across the region. The internal audit function for Digital Banking provides independent assurance over business, risk, and technology, safeguarding governance and controls.

As part of the team, you will lead risk assessments, manage a project team of auditors, apply data analytics, and ensure audits are completed to standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Business or equivalent; professional certification (CA/CPA/FRM) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of banking audit experience in financial institutions or Big 4.
• Strong knowledge of MAS banking regulations and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with data analytics and technology risk is an advantage.
• High integrity, leadership and ability to guide teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual risk assessments to guide the internal audit plan.
• Lead project teams in audit planning, fieldwork, reporting and issue tracking.
• Apply risk analytics and data analytics to identify priority areas.
• Ensure audits meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with Management, Audit Committee, External Auditors and Regulators.
• Provide guidance and develop IA team capabilities.
• Engage in ad-hoc projects.
