Job summary

Quod Architects in Singapore is seeking an Interior Designer / Senior Interior Designer to develop interior concepts for high-end residential projects, working with a team of architects and designers in a remote setting. You will lead a team of remote designers, produce 3D renderings, joinery details and tender drawings, and ensure design concepts are communicated clearly to clients and consultants.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in interior design, a Diploma or Degree in Interior

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of interior design and project experience for high-end residential projects.
• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Experience in luxury residential houses, residential, showflat interior design projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, VRay / Enscape.
• Able to work in a team.
• Proficient with interior design detailing and delight in crafting beautiful spaces.
• Strong English oral and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to manage projects at construction stage.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to create accurate and detailed design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Architects and designers to develop interior design concepts for a range of high-end residential projects.
• Lead a team of remote designers to prepare 3D renderings and presentations to communicate design concepts to Clients and consultants.
• Lead a team of designers to prepare design drawings, tender drawings, specifications, contract drawings and working drawings for coordination with Clients, Consultants and Contractors.
• Select materials, finishes and furniture to create cohesive and functional design schemes.
• Liaise with Consultants on design and technical matters.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate new ideas into design concepts.
• Work with Architects and Contractors to ensure design is implemented on site and on time.
