A leading healthcare technology company seeks a Senior Integration Analyst to manage healthcare data integration projects. The Senior Integration Analyst is responsible for supporting workflows and projects aimed at improving the efficiency and growth of athenahealth’s interoperability network or ‘backbone’. This network supports the transmission of various healthcare documents including lab results, imaging results, patient demographics, charges, appointments and prescriptions between athena and a Trading Partner. The Implementation Senior Analyst manages a large queue of projects for new Imports and existing table spaces build out and proactively identifies workflow deficiencies. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will maintain relationships with vendors and work Production Support tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
· Project management and Imports, including collector and clinical data;
· Serves as a subject matter expert and assists the team with their questions. Should act as the go-to person for all process related issues.
· Communicating with clients, vendors and internal athena stakeholders to convey Import status and timelines;
· Managing a high volume of projects and tasks with competing priorities;
· Developing a comprehensive understanding of athenahealth’s healthcare transactions and how relationships between teams and their workflows influence complex problem solving.
· Identifying operational inefficiencies and process breakdowns; contributing to the design of solutions to address the same.
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop novel solutions to operations problems.
· Extracting, synthesizing, and analysing data.
· Diagnosing, analysing and resolving issues related to electronic data interchange including but not limited to live lab, imaging, demographic and clinical document interfaces and electronic prescription routing.
· Other duties as assigned by the Imports Operations Manager and PM Operations Manager necessary to help optimize and expand Imports operations.
· Supporting the training and mentoring of new hires.
· Analyses thoroughly and proposes effective solutions for Imports projects and problems.
· Troubleshoots and resolves technical challenges and problems and escalates if necessary. Proposes solutions when problems or issues arise in a project or incident.
Requirements:
· Graduate in engineering, science, or commerce stream.
· Fluency and comfort with both spoken and written English.
· Willingness to work for any shift including IST night shifts.
· Strong communication skills and an ability to effectively engage with members of geographically disparate teams in India and the US.
· Excellent customer service skills and professionalism to effectively manage communication with external parties including US conversion vendors.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrated experience identifying and addressing workflow inefficiencies and breakdowns.
· Talent for managing problems through entire lifecycle from identification through resolution.
· Ability to operate independently to execute goals, seeking assistance when needed.
· Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Mastery of MS Office and the ability and desire to advance one’s technical skill set.
· Personal and professional self-induced drive to succeed.
· Passion for both teaching and learning skills among colleagues.
· Creative and inquisitive demeanour.
· Flexibility to adapt to change in a rapidly expanding company.
· Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, team setting.
· 4-7 years work experience within US healthcare, preferably in data integration.
