Job summary

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking an Insurance Supervisor to safeguard the soundness and resilience of Singapore's insurance sector. You will supervise a portfolio of insurers, assess financial resilience, governance, risk management and business conduct using a risk-based approach.

You will analyse financial and risk information, evaluate governance and control effectiveness, and support supervisory actions.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, preferably insurance, auditing, risk management or actuarial science.
• Good numerical ability with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills with team collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a portfolio of insurance firms, assessing financial resilience and risk management.
• Evaluate governance, control frameworks, and business conduct in a risk-based supervisory framework.
• Analyse financial and risk information to identify emerging issues and supervisory actions.
• Engage with senior management and contribute to regulatory policy initiatives and cross-functional projects.
