Job summary

ALTEN Group in Singapore is seeking a Senior Hardware Integration Engineer to oversee the infrastructure platform, including network equipment and compute servers, and to deploy the standard operating environment for projects and bids. You will revise architecture diagrams, BoM/LoS, and contribute to solution specs, design docs, and acceptance tests.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, delivering, and operating complex server/storage infra and networks.
• Solid networking foundation: switching and routing.
• Expertise in Linux/Windows Server, server hardening, virtualization.
• Experience with infra architecture across data centre servers/storage.
• Infrastructure automation (IaC), CI/CD, and scripting.
• Experience in traditional and agile lifecycles.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and deliver in multicultural teams.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Revise solution architecture drawings, cost templates, LoS/BoM at project start.
• Create/update network integration contributions to specs and tests.
• Review docs to align with project objectives; participate in integration.
• Define equipment configurations for ATM solutions; coordinate with Hardware.
• Deploy and integrate ATM system across factory and customer sites.
• Load, configure, validate, and hand over equipment to Software Integration.
• Attend design reviews with customers; provide training.
• Identify risks at architecture level and propose validated alternatives.
• Contribute to engineering processes and best practices.
• Bid support: create and peer review architecture diagrams and BoM/LoS.
• Knowledge capitalisation: curate docs, lessons learned, case studies.
• Support cost modelling and TCO analyses.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across disciplines.
• Promote Lean/Agile practices in infra projects.
• Explore emerging tech like AI monitoring, hybrid cloud, hyperconverged infra.
