Job summary

JOBSTER PRIVATE LTD. is seeking an infrastructure professional to ensure high availability of Unix platforms and to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple domains in Singapore.

The role includes planning system integrations post-M&A, documenting operations, and acting as a subject matter expert on Linux, VMware, Oracle, WebLogic, and storage. You will design, implement, monitor and optimize infrastructure, manage upgrades, and create processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Unix/Linux platforms in enterprise environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and remediate infrastructure issues across multiple domains.
• Familiarity with virtualization, Oracle, and WebLogic environments.
• Knowledge of storage solutions and backup/DR technologies.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and driving improvements.
• Ability to document designs, operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability of Unix platforms (Red Hat, Solaris, HP-UX) supporting business functions.
• Troubleshoot and remediate issues impacting infrastructure operations.
• Assist with planning and implementing systems integrations after M&A activity.
• Document design, operations and troubleshooting procedures for platforms.
• Act as SME on infrastructure projects involving Linux, VMware, Oracle, WebLogic and storage.
• Design, implement, monitor, upgrade and optimize infrastructure; create processes and documentation.
• Suggest improvements based on technology and best practices.
