Job summary

Quantum Infotech Solutions is seeking an experienced Infra Support Engineer to manage end-to-end infrastructure across Red Hat Linux, Solaris, VMware, and cloud environments. Responsibilities include AWS EC2, CloudFront, Azure migrations, backups, and incident/change management.

The role requires Bash scripting and Ansible automation, plus vendor coordination for hardware maintenance and inventory control. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with OS lifecycles, 3K+ server

Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end infra support environments.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Linux, Solaris, VMware platforms.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Scripting and automation using Bash and Ansible.
• Experience with incident and change management processes.
• Ability to manage hardware lifecycle and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end infra support for Red Hat Linux, Solaris, VMware, and cloud servers.
• Administer AWS EC2, CloudFront, and migrate on-prem to Azure.
• Handle backup and recovery operations and incident/change management.
• Automate infra tasks using Bash and Ansible.
• Coordinate with vendors for server, network, and storage maintenance.
• Manage OS lifecycle, decommissioning, and inventory updates.
• Provide engineering solutions for large-scale server environments.

• Manage End to end Infra Support to Red Hat Linux (Version:6, 7 & 8) and Solaris (9, 10 & 11) Physical, VMware and Cloud servers
• Manage AWS EC2 instances and CloudFront
• Migrate On-Perm Physical & VM Servers to Azure Cloud
• Backup & Recovery Management
• Incident and Change Management
• Automate Infra related tasks using Bash script & Ansible
• End to End OS and Data Center support and manage inventory.
• Working with Vendors for Server, Network & Storage devices periodic maintenance & parts replacement.
• Working on hardware decommissioning and reallocation of inventory.
• SSL Cert Implementation
• Manage OCS Exadata VMs & OCS Instances
• Provide Engineering solution for 3K Servers
• RHEL 7 to 8 Upgrade & VCS SF Upgrade for Critical Servers
• VCS SG & Resources configuration, update, and removal as part of Sever provision or decommission.
• SPOC for automation need
• Report monthly MOR call and update
• Prepare plan and execute required CHGs
• Manage RHEL Lifecycle Management
