Sony Electronics (Singapore) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Principal/Senior Information Security Consultant to provide regional leadership across risk management, security architecture and production security.

The role supports Asia Pacific operating companies to identify, assess and manage information security risks and to implement effective controls. The position covers business apps, infrastructure, manufacturing and OT environments, and involves collaboration with regional/global information

Qualifications

• : Must have strong risk management and security architecture experience.
• : Experience in governance, assurance and remediation planning.
• : Proficient in communicating risk to executives and stakeholders.
• : Knowledge of security controls and third‑party risk management.
• : Familiarity with information security standards and frameworks.
• : Experience across enterprise, cloud, network, and OT security domains.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional security services in line with priorities and KPIs.
• Lead risk assessments: threats, vulnerabilities, and control effectiveness.
• Provide security architecture and production-security guidance for projects.
• Act as SME in information security domains and stay updated on threats.
• Advise on policy compliance and identify implementation gaps.
• Own regional/global initiatives, coordinate teams, improve methods.
• Translate findings into business risk implications for management.
• Build relationships with regional ISO teams, CISD and global security functions.
