Job summary

The Singapore Contractors Association Ltd seeks a Senior Industry Development Executive to drive advocacy, research and partnerships in the built environment sector. You will liaise with government agencies, industry leaders and SCAL members to drive transformation and capture growth opportunities.

Key duties include project coordination, member engagement, event planning, policy development support and industry communications to advance standards and represent member interests.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in any discipline; Built Environment degree is a plus.
• 3–5 years in industry development or built environment sector.
• Proven ability to build networks with government officials and industry leaders.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Analytical, proactive and fast learner.

Responsibilities

• Advocacy Support: Contribute to advocacy efforts with government agencies and partners, identifying issues impacting the industry.
• Project Coordination: Support management of industry-level projects and track deliverables against goals.
• Member Engagement: Engage member companies to identify needs and gather feedback for representation.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Networking: Liaise with government agencies, partners and SCAL members for dialogue.
• Event & Programme Management: Plan and organise Committee meetings and industry programmes.
• Research & Policy Development: Conduct surveys to support policies and identify trends for transformation.
• Industry Communications: Assist in crafting public communications and reports.
• Advisory on Construction Practices: Review and provide recommendations on current practices.
• Prepare reports, monitor and follow up on industry engagements.
• Any other duties as assigned by leadership.
