Job Responsibilities
Primary Tasks
  • Overall capacity modelling/planning/expenditures for the filter business. Works with planning, manufacturing, process and equipment engineering to ensure demand is met.
  • Review capacity model, understanding the constraints and track cycle to cycle capacity changes.
  • Identify bottle-neck processes and work out capacity improvement projects with cross-functional teams and/or CapEx for capacity ramping/expansion for the Filter business.
  • Review capital and cashflow requirements, driving activities to improve capital efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct time studies and update process cycle time.
  • Lead and drive cross-functional teams to continuously improve OEE, cycle time and processes.
  • Identify process and operation inefficiencies in order to propose solutions for optimization and improvement.
Secondary Tasks
  • Project management using Gantt charts/action plans to execute and track the timeline of tools ready for production.
  • Lead, coordinate and work with cross-functional teams such as logistics, contractors, tools suppliers, equipment engineers, process engineers, facility engineers, and environment health and safety officers to install the tools as planned.
  • Brainstorm/support with layout engineers to optimize equipment density, production flow and expansion.
Job Requirements
  • BS in Industrial Engineering required, MS preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts, practices, and principles.
  • Preferred experience with Backend Assembly, Test, and Die packing.
  • Good communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written).
  • Possess project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and continuous improvement analytical skills (6Sigma / 5S / Lean Manufacturing).
  • Ability to use software models to solve problems.
  • Must be a team player, detail-oriented, and work well with others while performing well under pressure.
  • Conduct time studies on-site.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Self-driven and self-motivated to get the job done.
  • 5+ years related experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering; experience in the Semiconductor Industry preferred.

Proficient utilizing:

  • Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word & Visio.
  • AutoCAD.
  • Simulation software.
  • Experience with reporting tools.
  • Advanced planning systems.
  • Reporting systems such as FabTime.
  • Basic knowledge of MES (Promis).
