Join a dynamic technology startup as a Senior Incident Response Manager, leading a critical security function and mentoring a dedicated team. This permanent role involves managing the full incident response lifecycle, developing incident plans, and ensuring client trust, all in a supportive and innovative environment.
Lead all aspects of the incident response lifecycle from detection and containment to investigation and recovery.
Manage and mentor a small, agile team (2–3 security professionals), fostering continuous technical development.
Develop and refine incident response plans and playbooks tailored for a modern, high-growth tech startup.
Serve as the primary point of contact during incidents, ensuring clear communication with internal leadership and external clients.
Conduct root cause analysis, manage post-incident reviews, and implement improvements to strengthen security posture.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enhance monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
Deliver actionable reports and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients.
Stay on top of emerging cyber threats, attack vectors, and industry best practices.
Proven experience in security incident response, ideally within fast-paced or client-facing environments.
Strong technical background in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, and mitigation.
Experience working in consultancy or external stakeholder-facing roles.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to guide small, high-performance teams.
Deep understanding of incident response tools, frameworks, and threat intelligence.
Calm under pressure, with the ability to juggle multiple incidents or priorities.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or similar are a plus.
